Wow, music and music business. I was taught at a very early age that they were two different things. As owner of my own label I have to keep my vision, wits, and endurance. It gets tempting as an artist to respond to people when asked where I'm playing next, "I'll be here, there..." or " I'm working on booking this that and whatever." The truth is some of these projects are 2, 3 years and even longer from being put out to the public. I have a gameplan, start to finish, it's flexible but ambitious. The payday for me is also in the future. It feels good though to go to sleep everyday and know I'm doing my best and getting that much closer to having a whole slew of real art presentations and products for you and the rest of the world to hear,see, participate in, and enjoy.
